cPanel allows you to change the PHP version for your website according to your application or WordPress requirements.

Follow the Steps Below

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Go to the Software section.
  3. Click MultiPHP Manager.
  4. Select the domain for which you want to change the PHP version.
  5. From the PHP Version dropdown, select your required PHP version.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Wait a few seconds for the changes to take effect.

Your domain will now use the selected PHP version.

Important

Before changing the PHP version, make sure your website, WordPress plugins, themes, and other scripts are compatible with the selected version.

If your website displays a 500 error, critical error, or other PHP-related issue after the change, switch back to the previous working PHP version.
