The Email Filters feature in cPanel allows you to create rules for a specific email account to automatically manage incoming messages.

Follow the Steps Below

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Go to the Email section.
  3. Click Email Filters.
  4. Find the email account you want to configure and click Manage Filters.
  5. Click Create a New Filter.
  6. Enter a name in the Filter Name field.
  7. Under Rules, select the condition you want to use, such as:
    • From
    • Subject
    • To
    • Reply Address
    • Body
    • Spam Status
  8. Select a condition such as Contains, Equals, or Begins With and enter the required value.
  9. Under Actions, choose what should happen when an email matches the rule.
  10. Click Create to save the email filter.

Available Actions

You can configure actions such as:

  • Discard Message
  • Redirect to Email
  • Fail with Message
  • Deliver to Folder
  • Pipe to a Program

Important

Email Filters apply only to the selected email account. If you want to create a filter that applies across the entire cPanel account, use the Global Email Filters feature.

Configure filters carefully, as incorrect rules may cause legitimate emails to be redirected or discarded.
