If your website or WordPress displays a memory exhausted error, you can increase the PHP memory limit from cPanel.
Method 1: Using MultiPHP INI Editor
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Go to Software → MultiPHP INI Editor.
- Select your domain.
- Find
memory_limit. - Change the value, for example:
memory_limit = 256M
- Click Apply to save the changes.
Method 2: Using php.ini
If MultiPHP INI Editor is unavailable:
- Open cPanel → File Manager.
- Go to your website directory, usually
public_html. - Create or edit the
php.inifile. - Add:
memory_limit = 256M
- Save the file.
Important
The maximum PHP memory you can use depends on the limits configured for your hosting plan/server. Setting a value higher than the server's allowed limit will not override the server-level restriction.
If you are still receiving a memory-limit error after increasing the value, contact Razorhost Support with your domain name.
