If your website or WordPress displays a memory exhausted error, you can increase the PHP memory limit from cPanel.

Method 1: Using MultiPHP INI Editor

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Go to Software → MultiPHP INI Editor.
  3. Select your domain.
  4. Find memory_limit.
  5. Change the value, for example:
memory_limit = 256M
  1. Click Apply to save the changes.

Method 2: Using php.ini

If MultiPHP INI Editor is unavailable:

  1. Open cPanel → File Manager.
  2. Go to your website directory, usually public_html.
  3. Create or edit the php.ini file.
  4. Add:
memory_limit = 256M
  1. Save the file.

Important

The maximum PHP memory you can use depends on the limits configured for your hosting plan/server. Setting a value higher than the server's allowed limit will not override the server-level restriction.

If you are still receiving a memory-limit error after increasing the value, contact Razorhost Support with your domain name.
