By default, cPanel File Manager may hide files that begin with a dot (.), such as .htaccess, .user.ini, and .well-known.
Follow the Steps Below
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Go to the Files section.
- Click File Manager.
- Click Settings in the top-right corner.
- Enable the Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) option.
- Click Save.
- Refresh File Manager if required.
You should now be able to see hidden files such as:
.htaccess.user.ini.well-known
Important
Hidden files may contain important website or server configuration settings. Do not edit or delete them unless you know what they are used for. We recommend creating a backup before making any changes.
