By default, cPanel File Manager may hide files that begin with a dot (.), such as .htaccess, .user.ini, and .well-known.

Follow the Steps Below

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Go to the Files section.
  3. Click File Manager.
  4. Click Settings in the top-right corner.
  5. Enable the Show Hidden Files (dotfiles) option.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Refresh File Manager if required.

You should now be able to see hidden files such as:

.htaccess
.user.ini
.well-known

Important

Hidden files may contain important website or server configuration settings. Do not edit or delete them unless you know what they are used for. We recommend creating a backup before making any changes.
